Why do we do what we see? I know that in some cases this is good. However, in most cases it is not. I think its not just the media's fault, but its also more of the parents. Parents should pay attention to the what their children are watching on TV, and judge it on a basis with the childs age and maturity level. I wouldn"t let a 30 year old with the maturity of a 12 year old watch 300, even if he is 30.

I think we do what we see starting when we are young. You do it because you learn something by watching them do that. You learn that you can talk on the phone and cook only by seeing someone do it. I think that is how it works.

I see where your coming from Velvet. Experts say that children develop due to how their parents raised them.

Ecactly, like if a perent swares the child will eventualy repeat it. Due to the fact that when a child is young the parent is their main idol/influence in life.

Well, I think swearing is more than your parents. School is also an influence. If one child hears their parent swear, then swears at school, the other kids might do the same.
